Learn How To Fix Your Vape In A Few Simple Steps
Vaping can be a fun social experience to share with friends or maybe it helps you get your daily dose of nicotine without all the nasty extra chemicals? Whatever your reasons for vaping, you’re likely to run into a few problems with your vape from time to time and it can be frustrating to have to wait to get it fixed.
Most of the problems are easily fixable by you in a few minutes if you have the right guidance. If you experience a problem with your vape, have a read through the solutions below and you’ll be back vaping again in no time.
Mod Displaying ‘Atomizer Low’
This could mean different things depending on the mod you’re using, but most of the time it stems from the resistance of your coils. The mod may be reading that the coil in your tank is at a lower resistance than the lowest allowed resistance for your mod. This means the coil and the mod are not compatible and you’ll need to change them.
Another reason could be a dead coil, a faulty 510 connection on the device or a loosely seated coil. To overcome this check the coil is aligned correctly and screwed in tight enough. If this still doesn’t work, completely replace the coil and see if you get a correct reading.
Mod Displaying ‘No Atomizer’
99 times out of 100 this means you have a loosely seated coil or a dead coil. Check that the coil is seated correctly and check that the coil is screwed in tight enough. If this doesn’t work, it could be a faulty 510 connection due to the build up of gunk on the connection points of your tank and mod. Also the centre pin could be out of balance and not making a clear connection.
Try a thorough clean out of the tank and mods 510 thread area and reconnect to see what happens. The centre pin in your mod needs to sit close enough to the outside area to make a connection so you need to check this. If it has dropped in, some devices have holes where you can adjust this or you can just gently pry it up to connect to the tank.
Not Getting Any Or Enough Vapour
If you’re getting no vapour at all this could mean your coil is either loosely seated or completely dead. Try tightening and adjusting the coil to make sure it’s seated correctly. If this doesn’t work, try replacing the whole coil.
If you’re not getting enough vapour, you may want to change to a device that provides less resistance and creates more vapour. You should also look into the voltage/wattage you’re using which will in turn affect how much vapour you’re getting.
Vapour Has a Burnt Taste
Getting a burnt taste in your mouth when vaping is usually caused by; a coil that needs to be replaced or you’ve refilled your tank with e-liquid and haven’t given the wick enough time to absorb the liquid. Remember you need to give your device at least five minutes to rest after a refill. Clean out the tank or completely change the coil to get rid of the burnt taste.
